Potty Update
So far, so good! I was a little hesitant to start potty training in the first place because it's still pretty early. I'm so glad I decided to, though. There are still days where we have accidents, of course. Definitely a work in progress. I was a little nervous for public bathrooms/toilets without a potty seat. I just decided to go for it, though. I still put diapers on him for various trips. He still wears a diaper at night (sometimes it's wet in the morning and sometimes it isn't). If we have a very long car ride I put him in a diaper. I am now taking him into public bathrooms, though. And I wasn't doing that in the beginning. I would just slap a diaper on when we went out, which was probably confusing, haha. I'm hoping it continues to be successful :)

Wedding Update
We changed our wedding date. It is no longer September 20, 2014. It will now be on April 25, 2015. Venue and photographer will stay the same. Not really sure about anything else.

One week into potty training
Jackson is officially using the BIG BOY POTTY!! We started last Monday, so it's been one week. He's been doing really good. We've been leaving his pants off and letting him run around naked from the waist down. Every time he would start to make a mess, we would run him to the bathroom. When he pees, we give him peanut butter M&M's. When he poops, he gets to pick a new toy from a little basket. I'm sure every kid is different, but that's what he found works for Jackson. The toys are all from Walmart and most are only $1. We got bubbles, glow sticks, cars, and animals to pick from. The pooping is definitely more difficult than the peeing, but he's getting there. He will come up to us now when he really has to go, but a lot of times I just take him to make sure he doesn't make a mess. He gets so excited and cheers and claps for himself. It's so damn cute. He only had one accident today, which was really my fault. He was wanting to get up, but I didn't get to him in time. As soon as he peed, he said "Uh oh!" I know we're still going to have a lot of accidents, but it's still really exciting. And definitely a money saver. Diapers are EXPENSIVE.
Jacksie update
Jackson is really growing. I can't believe in a few short months he will be TWO!! Where does the time go? Anyway, I've really been diggin' his mannerisms lately, haha. He's such a funny kid. And he's always happy. He's always runnin' around like a wild man and tormenting the dogs. Thankfully we have some really great dogs, so I don't have to worry. He's been using the big potty, so that's pretty great. He wipes my kisses off, which is sad but really funny. When he says "Shhh..." he points his finger out. He will randomly run up and want a big hug. He loves pointing people out in pictures. He's just all around awesome!
