It's official. My baby is no longer a baby. Where did the time go? He's such an independent little man. And it's adorable. He just goes off on his own and does his own thing. Sometimes he'll come up just for a hug or a kiss, and then take off to get back to what he was doing. I seriously couldn't be any luckier. He is such a good little man.
Today I took him to one of his first July classes that I signed him up for. There is a Wild about Nature series at the Visitor's Center everything Thursday in July. He did so good. He was, by far, the youngest one in his age group (1yr-3yr). He hugged me for awhile and then went off on his own to play with the other kids. He was laughing and having a good time. Afterwards, we went to see Grandma Heiserman at work and then home for a nap. When he got up, we had some lunch and then went to play at the park. Followed by an ice cream date. I'd say that makes for a pretty good day.
Excited to go to Lemont for the weekend to see the Heiser-family!
