Halloween Festivities

Halloween is seriously so fun with kids!  We've had a fun weekend around here.  On Friday, Darrin and I went to an adult Halloween party.  We left Jackson with my mom.  It was the first time I've left Jackson with anyone besides Darrin (other than to run to the gas station or something).  I think I handled it okay.  On Saturday, we went to Grayson's first birthday party!  Can't believe he's a year old already.  We drove to Braceville for that.  Jackson (the kid who HATES car rides) did SO awesome in the car.  He seriously couldn't have been any better.  He's such a good baby :)  We had a lot of fun.

pumpkins, baby love, and laundry...

We finally got to take Jackson to the pumpkin patch!  We took him to The Great Pumpkin Patch in Arthur, IL.  Jackson did good, but wasn't really into all the stuff there.  It was still fun, though.  There is tons of stuff there!  We bought a lot of stuff from the bakery and I'm super excited to eat it :)

Jackson had a mini playdate with his "girlfriend".  Young love at its finest!  They basically just stared at each other and played with toys, haha.  Jackson also played "ball" today with his cousin.  He has also "helped" me with laundry.  By help I really mean pull it out of the basket, unfold it, and roll all over it...haha.

Look at how sweet he is :)  (Harper is 2 months older than Jackson...he looks huge)

I'm not sure what to title this post...

Well, life around here has been interesting.  Jackson officially has his first sickness.  He has a little cold...nothing serious.  Called his pediatrician to see if there was anything to give him and they recommended bringing him in.  I did and the kid weighs 18 lbs. 15 oz. and is 27 1/4 in. long.  I'm not sure what's in my milk, but he's a GIANT!

We planned on going to the pumpkin patch on Sunday, but the weather wasn't cooperating.  We didn't want to risk it with Jackson being a little sick.  Don't want it to get any worse.  Hopefully we'll be able to go next weekend.  Jackson's halloween costume came in the mail.  He's gonna look soo cute as baby Chewbacca :)  I've also been ordered a few Christmas things here and there.

We FINALLY got our new iPhone 5s!  I "pre-ordered" them and they just now got here.  So much for pre-ordering.  Darrin already had the iPhone, but I didn't..so I was pretty excited.  So far I really like it.  The best part is that Darrin got all his pictures back!  His old iPhone wouldn't let him access his pictures.  When he activated his new phone, all his pictures were there!  There were pictures of Jackson I've never seen!  There weren't many taken at the hospital when he was born, but he had a few on his phone.  I'm not sure anybody can realize how excited I was.  I didn't really get to see what was going on, due to all that was going on with me.  I was sad about it...

Curls...

Jackson's hair might be starting to curl....  We're all in trouble.  I was hoping (not secretly) that he wouldn't get "the hair."  I'm pretty famous around these parts for my ridiculous baby hair.  Actually, I'm not really famous, but you get the point.  His hair is starting to get a little wild.  I asked my mom if that's how my hair started and she just started laughing.  I took that as a yes...  I'm a little scared for him, haha.

Is it possible?  Let's hope not.
