38 weeks

38 weeks....only 14 more days until baby boy SHOULD be here!  I cannot tell you how ready I am to meet him....  It hasn't been an awful week, but I've been battling the sickness again.  I hate the sickness, especially when you can't take anything for it!  The first couple days were miserable...but it's getting a little better now.  I think it's just a cold, but not a fun one.  I hate not being able to breathe through my nose.  It makes sleeping nearly impossible!  I've finally gotten a little sleep, which puts me in a much better mood :)  I haven't taken any medicine this whole pregnancy (besides prenatal vitamins and iron supplements), so I have no intention to start.  Oh well, I'll tough it out :)

In other news, I had an OB appointment...which was extremely uneventful.  Just the usual appointment.  Heartbeat was 140 :)  Last week they said I was measuring at 39, but apparently wrote down 38.  So this week I was measuring at a 38, which is what I should be measuring at.  I knew she measured wrong last week!  So everything has been going pretty good pregnancy-wise.  I have realized that I will be a worry mom...yup, I said it.  I'm sure I'll have a heart attack before Jackson is 2!  I know that I read entirely too much about other people's pregnancy, but I can't help it!  I also hear things from other people.  Just today, I heard of two separate people who went in for normal appointments and didn't hear heartbeats.  I believe both women were around 35 weeks.  That terrifies me!  I'd be a complete mess...  Let's just hope he's perfect :)

I had lunch yesterday with some people that I haven't seen in a long time...which was fun.  Makes me miss them even more.  I was also told I waddled and had swollen feet.  I just love pregnancy, haha.  Anything for Jax!  Darrin only has finals next week, so hopefully Jackson decides to come DIRECTLY after Darrin finishes those finals :)  Anytime after Wednesday, buddy!  We are ready to meet you!!!!

How far along?  38 weeks
Maternity clothes?  haven't bought anything new and don't plan on it!
Stretch marks?  not yet...crossing my fingers for none...
Sleep:  I don't even want to talk about how much sleeping sucks....hopefully it gets better after the sickness.  I'd still be peeing like crazy, so I doubt it

Miss Anything?  feeling normal, ahah.  I'm so ready to be able to sleep any way I want (besides on my side), have clothes fit, not feel HUGE, bend over (which has gotten extremely difficult lately), not peeing every 6 seconds...ya know, the little things :)

37 Weeks: FULL TERM!

How exciting?!  I just can't wait to meet little man!  It hasn't been a super interesting week.  I did have an appointment and I have one every week from here on out.  His heartbeat was 132 this week and she said I was measuring at 39 weeks.  I don't believe her...she measured differently than all the other doctors.  She was new.  I could be wrong, though.

In other news, Darrin got a scholarship!  The scholarship was for $1000.  It's called the Flora Saxsby Hawkes Memorial Scholarship in English...or something like that.  Super proud of him!  I was originally planning to wait until next Spring to go back to school, but I think I'm going to try to go back in the Fall....if everything works out the way I want it to.  I guess we'll see soon...

Sleep:  I wish.  Haven't slept well lately.

Labor Signs:  Well, since I'm a first-timer at this...I'm not really sure.  For about the past week or so I've been having period like cramps, which the doctor said are normal.  Could possibly be contractions...but who really knows, not me!  Nothing consistent enough to time or anything

36 weeks

Another week down, yet so far to go!  It's been a pretty calm week...nothing too exciting has happened.  Haven't had an appointment, cuz I got to skip out this week.  Sleep has been awful, though!  I've been up every hour for the last couple nights!  Except last night, but it was storming so Polka Dot kept me up anyway...  Oh well, I guess I better start preparing myself now, huh?

How far along? 36 weeks
Maternity clothes?  Same ol....just been wearing Darrin's.  I consider those my maternity clothes, haha

Sleep:  awful this week.
Best moment this week:  Polka Dot snugglin' my belly..she's been lovin' on me like crazy the last couple days
Miss Anything?  I'm sure comfort will be at the top of my list the rest of this pregnancy.  I miss being able to find something to wear....haha
Movement:  sometimes he doesn't move much and sometimes he moves like crazy.  it's about half and half

35 weeks

We've officially hit the 35 week mark!  Still feels like we have FOREVER to wait, though!  It's been a pretty calm week, like usual.  Had an appointment yesterday and everything was good.  I was supposed to start going every week now, but he said since everything has been good I can skip next week and come in 2 weeks.  I guess that's a good sign, but I'd love to hear his heartbeat every week :)  I thought it might make the weeks go by faster, too....but at least everything is good!  Polka Dot also got her haircut on Monday....and I can't say she was very happy about it, haha.  I bet she feels a lot better, though.  She looks like a whole new dog!  Anyway.....

Sleep:  Same ol'.  I usually wake up feeling like I got hit by a car...fun.
