2013

It's hard to believe it's New Years Eve...where did the year go?  2012 has been the absolute best year of my life.  Jackson's here and I honestly couldn't ask for anything more.  He's healthy and happy and that's all the really matters.  I never make any ridiculous New Year's resolutions like working out every day, running a marathon, etc.  I know myself and I know I'd never stick to those things (although I wish I would!).   So this year the only resolution I'm making is to be the best mom I possibly can...this year and every year after.  A bonus would be pulling straight A's next semester.  I'd love to graduate with a 3.94 :)  So....cheers to the New Year!

Christmas 2012

Merry Christmas!  We had such an awesome Christmas this year.  Another first for baby boy...FIRST CHRISTMAS!  I'm not big into holidays, but I kind of got into the holiday spirit this year.  I want Jackson to love them, so I guess I better start pretending, haha!  It's so exciting to watch, even if he was only interested in the bows and paper :)  The best part...spending time with all of our families.  Definitely doesn't get any better than that.  We had several places to go this year.  First was the Heiser-Christmas, which was on Zach's birthday.  Then we had Darrin's dad's Christmas.  Then Darrin's mom's.  And then we had our Christmas with Jax.  Grandma Heis came over for that, too.  Jackson got WAY too much! We decided not to go all out, because we knew that he'd have no idea.  Nobody else got the memo, apparently. Because he got allll kinds of fun stuff!  We have enough toys to last forever. We already need a new "toy box".  I'm sure that at some point we'll have no furniture, because toys will take over everything!  Oh well, he'll love it!

Darrin's Graduation (12/15/12)

Darrin graduated!!!  I can't even express how proud we are.  Not only did he graduate with a Bachelor's, but he also graduated with departmental honors AND magna cum laude!  Surprisingly, it was pretty quick for a college graduation.  Jackson did awesome!  Didn't cry at all.  Now it's my turn to get shit done and graduate, haha.  One more semester!  Come on May!

The Kringles

Jackson has officially met "The Kringles."  It was only fitting that he met them at the HARLEY shop....because we are a Harley family :)  He did pretty good.  He really didn't like the bells they had.  Grandma had to get in on the pictures, too.

7 months

7 months...crazy stuff.  Can't believe it.  Jackson can now be classified as a WILD MAN!  Kid's crazy. I already posted about him crawling and stuff, but he can also clap...when he wants to.  We love it!  He loves to be cheered for.  Had to take him to the doctor today, because he's a little sick.  Weighs 19 lbs 7 oz.  Slowing down finally, haha.  I was so excited for him to start crawling, but I now realize the level of difficulty was raised, haha.  He is EVERYWHERE!  Anyway, here are some pictures...
